Wordless Wednesday: Feathered Sky

I have more purple pictures on Flickr.
*Attending the Housewares show was a sponsored trip. Hoover provided airfare, travel, accommodations and a meal. I wasn't asked to photograph any brand. An brand name in shots is coincidental. Thank you Hoover and Current for the opportunity!

I gave Tyler the camera for a little while today at Epcot. I love seeing thing's through his eyes. There are more of his pictures on Flickr.

No, not a Women of Tiger Woods calendar. Heh. But, Phil's company publishes a calendar every year with employee submitted photos and we won first place in our category!
Phil got to get dressed up (for him, anyway) and go to a luncheon with the big wigs where they gave himmy a $100 Amex card.

The two other pictures I took that day are in a previous Wordless Wednesday. Lots of good things happening lately, hope they continue into 2010.

Look who came to visit! I saw something out of the corner of my eye that looked much bigger than the birds I'm used to seeing. These two must be escapees. They hung out behind my house until my neighbor's dog scared them off.

I was trying for an On Golden Pond type of look with this photo. The father walked into the shot and I decided to go with it. I love how it turned out. I took a few more of them but this one is the best. While I was reviewing the pictures on the LCD, they ran off down the beach. I was going to offer to email him since I know a moment like this is so precious. Seeing a dad with his child like this always makes me melt. Kids grow so fast.

I'm having so much fun with my new camera! These two belong to my friend/neighbor.

I have no idea who the little girl on the end is.

Drama Kid's face when I asked him to hold hands with B was priceless (but I missed the shot, darn it). But they cozied up by the firepit later. Could be a relationship in the works.
**ETA- The little girl on the end is B and B's cousin. In my hurry to get the photos taken before the light was gone, I hadn't been introduced to her yet.
