My dad is a huge Motown fan. He used to travel a lot when I was younger, especially before we moved to California. During the Reagan years, he was gone all the time, especially when Maureen Reagan went on her 50 State Tour in support of her dad.

When he would come back from a long trip, he’d break out all his favorite records and we'd sing and dance around the family room. One of my favorite memories is when he would sing and slow dance with me to Daddy’s Home by Shep and the Limelights.

If I hadn't eloped, Daddy's Home would have been the song we danced the Father Daughter dance to at the reception. I get teary just hearing the song in my head.

I had another name picked out, Strawberry Doorbells, but decided against it. I couldn't come up with a design I liked better than this one and couldn't explain the inside joke publicly (thanks Jen!). So, I stuck with my attempt at a pun instead and I hope you like it as much as I do.
