This weekend I'll be working. Technically today and tomorrow are my "weekend" and I used them to clean and do my biweekly costco shopping trip. Not very exciting. I had hoped to sit out by the pool but it's raining.

This weekend is a festival of a great many things. You might be sorry you asked!
ReplyDeleteFriday-- the first day of the weekend, yes? :) I plan on picking my 4 month old car up from the shop, again, as it was weedeated about a month ago, one of the windows were blown out and it was pock marked from gravel from front to back. The window was replaced, but the paint needed repaired. It was repaired, with a hefty amount of dirt tossed in just for fun. So that, and a few damage smoodges that I didn't have on it prior to dropping it off, landed it back into the body shop for repair-- again. Should I mention that my daughter and I were in an accident in March, where a waterproofing truck loaded down with bags of concrete slammed into the back of us and totalled out our car? That is why we got the new one. So, the car thing has been exhausting this year.
Saturday-- Family trip to Amish Country! We live in Ohio and we go to Holmes County to all of our favorite stops. Now, Amish Country on a Saturday is an insane idea, but it was the only day we had. We'll skip a few regular stops, as they will be like standing in a soup kitchen line. We'll stop in at our favorite produce stand, though. We love the folks at Blessing Acres!
Sunday-- Church, a baby shower and if there's time, MORE CHURCH!
And now for you, thank you for offering books and treats!

Starbucks and B&N...a woman after my own heart!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend is going to be like most of my other weekends...I won't know until it gets here. In general, since I work full-time, my weekends are a mixture of playing catch-up with house stuff and squeezing in "play time", which is either reading or scrapbooking stuff. I say stuff because sometimes I just organize my supplies and play with paper.
I let my reading go for a while, but I've gotten back into it lately.
Cute blog, by the way. I love the header!
You can reach me at daisyaday [at] gmail [dot] com
Thanks!
This weekend I want to do some cross-stitching, shop for yarn for a crochet project, and go to church. Great giveaway, coffee and reading are the perfect combination for most people. :)
