I did not think a day like today would happen in my lifetime. I never thought I'd be talking to my child about what a historic day this is and why it is significant and meaningful. I'm still so in awe that I have no words.
Welcome to Washington Mr. President.(Photo from ABC News)
I couldn't agree with you more. I was leaving the gym today as the inauguration was about to start and was surprised and excited to see so many members stop to witness this event. Our lobby was packed with people around the big screen. Some were overwhelmed with emotions. It was so nice to share this moment with others, it was like being with my family who happen to be too far away from me right now. Thanks for sharing the photo.

ReplyDeleteCome see me--I have words--lots of them!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great day for all of us.
We are all so blessed, yes.
ReplyDeleteAmen.
ReplyDeleteIt was a goose-bump day.
I think all Americans were filled with hope and excitement.
Stop by, I've got soup on this week. EZ recipes to be cold (here in NW Indiana it's really cold)
If you're interested!
All I can do is sing "OH Happy Day!"
