I am blown away that it's been 10 years since the first book in the Harry Potter series came out. It took me awhile to jump on that bandwagon but I'm so glad I did. I absolutely loved the books and have been impressed with the way the movies have followed them so closely. Head over to MomDot and enter their anniversary contest from Scholastic. The books are being re-released as a boxed collectors set with new artwork. Good luck!
Has it really been that long? I was a little late to the bandwagon too, by the time I started reading, the first 4 books were out, which was fantastic, because I could read them back to back. Now I've read them all multiple times. I'm a total HP nerd!
Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long...love the books. I am stopping by a bit late from BATW to say hi... love the story of you and your husband getting married!!!
I haven't read the Harry Potter books yet, right now I am into the Stephenie Meyer Twilight set, AWESOME! If you haven't read them, give it a try. I am visiting from BATW also. I like your blog, and also enjoyed the story about how you got married. Congrats on the 10 years, and wishing you many more to come. Amy in Georgia

ReplyDeleteVisiting you via BATW from L.A. :)
I would LOVE to win that!! I haven't read any of these but I really want to. Thanks for the heads up about the contest.
ReplyDeleteI just couldn't get into it. Two of my kids were mad for them and two couldn't care less.
ReplyDeleteThey sure have gotten thicker over the years.
