ReplyDeleteWell I made simple chilidogs for everyone...the night before I made tortilla beansoup but before adding extra sauce reserved some of the beans so I had fast chili tonight from the softened beans. So thats what I had for dinner or made for dinner. Weekend is gonna be busy......hope you have a great one!

Right now seems like sick and injured is the name of the gamer in my family. I've been at my sister's watching her kids (I'm their only babysitter)I'm fighting off bronchitis, the 5 year old twins both have cold... where else did my bronchitis come from. One of them also has a stomach bug which he then passed on to the 19 month old. The baby hit the terrible twos at about 6 months and is still going strong. My poor BIL is afraid to take him to the parade at school tomorrow because the poor kid looks like he had a terrible accident. He actually did both things to himself but if you weren't there who would believe it. Yesterday he decided to roll off a chair to keep me from taking him off since he wasn't supposed to be up there to start, Tonight the tread is nearly gone off his blanket sleeper feet and he tried to crawl onto his big brothers toy box and fell hitting his face. There were 4 adults in the room and none of us could keep it from happening. So he has a fat lip with bite marks, a bruised cheek. He got down after both and immediately tried to climb back up again. That child has no fear and limitless energy. Sometimes he makes me feel so old. Hard to be positive after 36 hours like that.
ReplyDeleteI had a chicken sandwich with macaroni and cheese for dinner last night. Today we're headed out to get our pumpkins because, yes, we waited until the last moment.

Well, this looks like it is a favorite one. I can't say that I blame so many people for wanting in on it! We are going to a Trunk-or-Treat tonight, with the whole home costumes. I just can't bring myself to spend money on one when I am sure I can come up wtih something. My daughter is going to be a mummy, a bit of gause and all is good. This year my son is going as an iPod, and he loves it. The first thing he did upon waking up was take his costume off the table and try and put it on. He got to help a bit with it, and I think that makes all the difference! P.S. Last year he was a cell phone. I am not sure if I know how to make sure the comments are not noreply, I hope that does it. Sign me up we are ready to win! I hope you have a great weekend full of treats and maybe a trick or two!
ReplyDeleteFor lunch today I had a California Pizza kitchen personal pizza (frozen). It was pretty good.

I left a message already, but I wasn't sure what you wanted for a way to contact, so I am frying this again. I am looking forward to the trunk-or-treating and the costume contest. I made my costumes, as always. I just can't see spending money on prefab ones. Saturday is promising to be a good lazy day, kind of my favorites. I love target....they just have the best prices for kids clothes, and my monkeys just keep growing, thus the need for good inexpensive clothes, eh? Have a great weekend, and thanks for doing these give-aways! (fripan at gmail dot com)

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to read in your profile that you too were laid off. Yes, this Christmas is going to take creativity for all of us. On our small street, every house has at least one person laid off because of this economy. Our area has been hit hard. It is so great of you to have giveaways despite your layoff, and especially Target $$.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win. Should I win, you can contact me via comment on my blog or my e-mail is in my profile.
